A new decade dawns for me on 17 May 2023 and doing a birthday fundraiser is a first for me. I'm doing it to say thank you to the Teapot Trust for enabling me to have an extraordinary volunteering experience. Later this month I will be helping steward the 'Elsewhere Garden' at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. I am running 2 half marathons this upcoming August and September to fundraise for Teapot Trust. Teapot Trust is an incredible charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing of children with chronic health conditions by hosting art therapy sessions in hospitals across the UK. Art therapy is a powerful coping mechanism by which participants can explore their emotions surrounding a diagnosis in a positive and supportive environment.
