  1. Fundraise for us

Schools

Raising Awareness in Schools about Chronic Conditions in Children and Young People

As a children’s mental health charity, Teapot Trust is naturally keen to work with schools to raise awareness about chronic and physical health conditions in children and young people, the impact this has on their mental health, and how our art therapy supports them to improved Wellbeing.

We are happy to lead talks about this, at Assemblies or PHSE lessons in schools, and/or provide resource materials for teachers and pupils.

Raising Funds to Support Pupils Impacted by Chronic Illness

We want to encourage schools to fundraise for us – particularly if there are pupils who have lived experience of a chronic or physical condition – perhaps by taking on one of our school fundraising ideas or creating your own and having fun while doing it.

Art for Wellbeing Experiences for School Pupils

We can provide Art for Wellbeing experiences for pupils e.g. through creative journaling workshops to teach them ways to express themselves, organise their time, and track activities to improve Health and Wellbeing.

Summer Term Work Experience

Teapot Trust can offer a limited number of short-term work experience placements for senior school pupils in the summer term. This work is likely to be focused on supporting our Community Fundraising work.

Further details are available in our guidelines, here, and an editable version of the application form is here.

YPI

We’re happy to provide resource materials by email to support YPI groups but cannot meet requests for telephone interviews, unfortunately – unless we’re already partnering with the school concerned – being a small team.
