Gifts in Wills

We’re encouraging our supporters to consider leaving a Gift in their Will to Teapot Trust. This provides “future-proofing” for the charity so that we can continue meeting the needs of children and young people with chronic health conditions in the years ahead.

Including a Gift in your Will – perhaps giving a proportion of the residue of your estate or a specific sum – means you can make a lasting contribution that might not have been possible in your lifetime.

We commit to using funds gifted in this way to support children in line with our charitable purposes and to create equity of access for all who need us.

Please consider carefully whether this is an appropriate way for you to support our work in the longer term.

It’s easy to include a Gift to Teapot Trust in your Will to support our future work

It’s easy to arrange a Gift in your Will to Teapot Trust as we have an arrangement with Brodies Solicitors where a preferential rate is offered for making a Will through their online service. An animated video via the link, above, walks you through the process.

Alternatively, we recommend Solicitors for the Elderly – a network of individual solicitors throughout the UK who have undertaken training specifically in working with older clients (on Wills, Estate Planning and Power of Attorney). They can arrange meetings in person, including home visits. Further details can be found on their website where there is a searchable postcode facility to identify participating solicitors in your area.

You will need to provide your solicitor with our charity name, registered charity number and address – below.

The choice is entirely yours whether you tell us of your kind intentions or keep them private although we’d naturally like to thank you and treat you as any other donor, by keeping you informed of our work and progress from time to time.

Please contact Caitlin Meagher (07394 558660 or [email protected]) if you’d like to get in touch to tell us of your kind intentions or need more information.

On behalf of the children and young people we support – now and in the future – thank you.
