Welcome to our Young Voices Resource Hub! This page is filled with resources for young people living with a chronic condition, lots of which were made by other young people with chronic conditions. We want this page to be as useful as possible, so if there is anything you would like to see here then just get in touch. 😊
Having a chronic condition can be a lonely and isolating experience. Even when doctors and leaflets tell you that “one in so many people have the same condition as you” it can feel hard to believe when you don't know anyone else like you. Having a condition that is less visible or invisible can make this even trickier.
However, as tricky as it can feel to believe it, you are not the only one!
1 in 5 young people have a chronic condition and, whilst no two experiences of a chronic condition are the same, there is lots of common ground and community to be found! This page is full of top tips and blogs from other young people with chronic conditions and resources from other brilliant charities. If you want to be part of a community of other children and young people, then have a look at getting involved with our Young Ambassadors.
