After the resounding success of their gold medal winning Teapot Trust Elsewhere Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023, we were delighted that garden designers Nicola Semple and Susan Begg agreed to be patrons of the charity.

With over 30 combined years of experience, Nicola Semple and Susan Begg started Semple Begg Garden and Landscape Design in 2014, with a Swiss practice opening in 2018. Nicola and Susan are trained and qualified in a broad range of disciplines – garden and landscape design, horticulture, architecture and design history – and all projects benefit from their combined input and commitment to collaborative, reflective practice.

They’ve said of their work: “Each project is a response, both artistic and pragmatic, to our clients' wishes, personal style, the space itself and the wider natural landscape. Our aim is to have a light, deft touch and we are guided by the desire to create soulful gardens with a unique sense of place, atmosphere and character.”

Nicola and Susan continue to work closely with the Teapot Trust as their gold winning Elsewhere Garden is  replanted on a larger scale at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
