Teapot Trust is led by CEO, Sarah Randell, supported by a committed and skilled team of staff (4) and trustees (7) with professionally qualified and registered art therapists retained on a self-employed/sessional basis (16).

In post since May 2019, Sarah previously held Development Director roles in a large school, a city theatre, and a national charity. She was also Deputy Director of a national membership organisation where her focus was helping member charities prepare to pass OSCR's charity/public benefit test. Sarah has been drawn to organisations where pivotal change and ambition was needed to grow. In this, she has an impressive track record.

Far-sighted strategically and highly relational in her approach, Sarah has made rapid progress at Teapot Trust, bringing a more sustainable model of work to the charity and forging community partnerships to reach the unreached. Empowering staff, Sarah has ensured the charity has fruitful relationships with its beneficiaries and supporters and achieved the goals of an ambitious strategic plan (reported on in our annual review).

Outside work, Sarah feels most fully alive immersed in live theatre, she’s always keen to try new art making activities and often walks East Lothian’s beaches and woodlands to relax.
