Sarah graduated from Winchester University in 2016 with a degree in Creative Writing and went on to qualify as an Art Psychotherapist from Queen Margaret University.

During this time, she worked with children and young people in a family support centre and adults in an acute psychiatric setting. After graduating, Sarah became a Bereavement Counsellor supporting young people who had experienced the sudden and unexpected or anticipated death of a loved one. She also set up an art therapy service working with adults and young people who struggle with their own substance use or the substance use of a loved one.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys yoga, reading, being in nature and spending time with family and friends.
