We are aware that these are challenging circumstances for families, and recognise that our families with young people with chronic health conditions will be under more stress and anxiety than ever. To ensure safety, we've paused all face-to-face working, including our Open Groups which support thousands of children each year. Without these sessions, they may not be able to access other support of a similar nature in the current climate.

We are developing Online Art Therapy Groups to provide creative, therapeutic activities and peer support. The aim is to support children and young people whose anxiety may have increased even more so with the current pandemic and to provide a fun and positive escape for those already coping with long-term conditions.

Please check back here for more information as this develops. We will also be outlining the referral process, but if you have any questions about referring to these group sessions, please get in touch. Remember to also sign up to our newsletter to ensure you don't miss any updates.

In the meantime, we have a variety of ideas for activities you can do which can be adapted based on age, accessibility of materials, etc. Check out our art therapist videos, therapeutic art activities, and colouring pages that can also all be adapted to fit a group's needs.
