Thank you for your interest in Teapot Trust's French Holiday Prize Draw. Please read the full Terms and Conditions carefully for the prize draw below.

This competition is being run by Teapot Trust, SCIO Charity number SC041885, The Drying House, Eskmills Park, Musselburgh, EH21 7PQ.

Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years or older to participate and be legal residents in the UK. 

Entries must be submitted between the 15th of May 2023 to the 4th of June 2023.

Teapot Trust has the right to ask for proof of eligibility requirements.

How to Enter

Only one submission is allowed per person.

You must provide the required information along with your submission, including a valid email address or contact information.

To enter, you must either donate to Teapot Trust via the website, via text (ARTHEALS to 70191 to donate £10), give a cash donation, or or sign up to the Teapot Trust newsletter via the website or at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Prizes

The prize is a week’s stay (7 days) in the Maison des Cyprès holiday home: Maison des Cypres, at Les Plats, Nanteuill Auriac de Bourzac, 24320, France, SIRET 94807964500016.

Each guest shall book the Gite directly with Maison des Cypres. Each booking shall be subject to their standard holiday let terms, except that no rental fee shall be payable by the guest. The prize winner may have to pay a refundable deposit to cover damage.

The holiday home is not wheelchair accessible. The location is rural with limited phone reception, and a car is essential due to lack of public transport.

The winner will be responsible for all fees outside of accommodation. Teapot Trust nor Maison des Cypres will be responsible for these expenses.

The prize cannot be redeemed until 2024 and will be subject to availability as relayed by the owners of the site. It is expected that the winner will be restricted to a week in May 2024, although this is subject to change, with the dates to be agreed.  

The prize is non-transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash value. 

Expiry or termination of the arrangement between Maison des Cyprès and Teapot Trust will not affect any bookings that have been made by guests prior to the expiry of that notice, or the right of any competition winner to make a booking where that competition winner has not done so as at the date of expiry or termination.

The Draw

The winner will be drawn randomly from the list of donors and newsletter sign ups on the 5^th of June. 

The winners will be notified via the contact details provided within 10 working days of the winner being selected. We will attempt to contact the winner twice. If there is no confirmation of receipt within 5 working days, we reserve the right to choose a new winner.

Permissions

By entering, you understand we will retain your information in line with GDPR policies and our privacy policy.

The winner agrees to the release of their name and contact details to Maison des Cyprès so booking can proceed.

Teapot Trust reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Prize Draw in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified within these Terms and Conditions or in the event of any other cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Teapot Trust that could affect the normal course of the draw.

The prize draw and these terms and conditions shall be subject to Scots law. If there is any dispute relating to this arrangement, we agree that the Scottish courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
