We're delighted to have received a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver a pilot Community Art Therapy project in Edinburgh this year. In February, the team met with Kate Griffin, of WHALE Arts in Wester Hailes, to talk about how we can support the mental health of children with chronic conditions in the area.

Kate said: "This exciting partnership offers the chance for us to work with some of the most vulnerable members of our community, supporting wellbeing, positive mental health and creativity. We're looking forward to sharing ideas and delivering services for our young people and their families with the Teapot Trust."

We are currently looking at ways of working together remotely and look forward to being able to start online or face-to-face group art therapy sessions with the community as soon as we are able. There will be online focus groups for the communities surrounding WHALE Arts and North Edinburgh Arts (another project partner), to help us to shape the service to their needs. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.
