Understandably, many sponsored challenge events and fundraising opportunities for the year have been postponed or cancelled, but teh need to support children and families coping with chronic conditions has not eased. If anything, research shows that the additional challenges for social distancing have heightened the need for mental health support.
We have adapted our services so that they are available online. This ensures that children and young people are still able to receive the support they normally rely on. Our dedicated art therapists have also contributed to the development of online resources, making therapeutic art techniques and anxiety reducing exercises readily available for our service users and wider public.
As we continue to deliver our services, albeit online, we are still reliant on public support so that we can continue helping children and families in need. If you'd like to learn more about how your support can help, click here.
