Liz Kilpatrick joined Teapot Trust as Chair in September 2020. No stranger to the charity sector in East Lothian, Liz was Secretary at East Lothian Foodbank for almost 7 years. East Lothian’s Trustee of the year in 2018, she also carried out an audit on food poverty for East Lothian Council.

A graduate of London School of Economics, Liz’s early career was in brand management, spanning SmithKline Beecham, Campbell’s Soup and Scottish Courage. She has lived in Scotland for 23 years and has been involved in community work for much of that time. Liz is often on Tyninghame beach with the dog, doing her best thinking there!

Liz joins the team at a time when children and young people with “invisible” conditions are increasingly in need of therapies to help with their mental wellbeing. She has been really impressed by how Teapot Trust has adapted to coronavirus and how much the charity can offer young people. As Chair, she looks forward to helping trustees work together to make the best governance decisions for the charity, while supporting the CEO and her team in their operational capacity.
