Role Description

This role involves placing collection cans in suitable locations within your local community.


  • Identifying possible stores, community centres, event locations, etc. where collection cans can be placed
  • Gaining permission from the owners where you are placing cans
  • Checking the collection cans at least every 3 months
  • Collecting, counting, and banking the donated funds
  • Keeping records of your cans
  • Sending your records to the Teapot Trust

Training and Support

We will provide background information on the Trust and its mission so you are comfortable explaining our cause. Materials such as collection can supplies and promotional information will be provided. We are available and happy to give any additional support or information when needed.

Additional Information

All collected funds should be deposited within 2 weeks of collection. No expenses should be deducted from the donations without preapproval and a receipt for the Teapot Trust. A fundraising agreement must be completed before you fundraise on our behalf.
