A massive thank you to Farrans Construction who raised £600 for the Teapot Trust!  Elizabeth Burke from Farrans went to visit Susan Rudnik, one of our art therapists in Chelsea and Westminster to give her the good news- along with a giant cheque!

The sixth annual London Creativity and Wellbeing week will be structured around the lifecourse, exploring the different ways in which we can benefit from engaging with the arts throughout our lives.

On the 14th of June 2017 at 1pm, the Teapot Trust will have information stalls for parents and children attending Great Ormond Street Hospital for appointments to learn more about who we are, what we do, and the positive impact art therapy has on the lives of chronically ill children in hospitals. We will also provide open group art therapy sessions in the hospitals. These are for children and their families at the hospitals to take part in making art and to engage with an art therapist if they wish.

On Friday the 28th April at 7.30pm, the award winning Stenton Singers are putting on their annual Spring concert in Preston Kirk. The Singers have been together for 30 years and their conductor, Lynda Jeffrey was recently awarded a BEM for services to music and charity. Their twice yearlyconcerts have raised thousands of pounds for various charities over the years and we are delighted that their Spring Concert this year is in aid of the Teapot Trust. If you want to go along and see the group, who won the Edinburgh Evening News Trophy two years in a row, tickets are available from Linton Butchers or East Linton Post Office.

Sadly, due to weather, team teapot have had to put their challenge on hold for the time being. They do however hope to get the go ahead at the first possible opening in June 2017! We are gutted for you guys but we know you will use this time to continue your training and spread the word about art therapy even further!

We had the pleasure of meeting the boys and girls from Summerlea House Nursery yesterday in Largs and received this cheque for £1000! The children took part in a sponsored walk with their families and friends recently, all to raise funds so we can continue to provide our art therapy projects in Glasgow! Thank you so much!!

A big well done and thank you to Kinross Brownies who have raised a fantastic £125 for us by holding a tea party for their friends and family! Not only did they all raise money and awareness for art therapy but they also all gained their hostess badges too! Well done girls!!
