Teapot Trust received an incredible £3,031 from the bags of help campaign at Tesco in Musselburgh. Here is Teapot Trust’s very own mascot, Philip McCuppa, receiving the cheque!

Thank you so much to Tesco and everyone who supported us during the campaign. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Meet our new mascot, Philip McCuppa!

If you fancy taking on a challenge whilst supporting a great cause this year, why not sign up for The Kiltwalk? We have started recruiting ‘Team Teapot’ and would love for you to join us.

You can choose from 4 different cities (Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh), as well as the distance you walk, making it accessible to all levels. Thanks to The Hunter Foundation, charities will also receive 140% of all fundraising!

Teapot Trust would like to offer free places to support us on The Kiltwalk if you contact us to receive your free registration code by the 25th of April. If you contact us after this date, but before the 12th of May, we will pay 50% of your registration fee. What better reason to sign up today!

To get in touch and for more information email us on info@teapot-trust.org.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Events Management students at Queen Margaret University for fundraising for the Teapot Trust through their art exhibition, ‘In the Eye of the Beholder’. The exhibition was a great success and raised a fantastic sum for Teapot Trust!

This month we were lucky enough to have a merchandise stand at Edinburgh Yarn Festival! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to say hello and bought our merchandise. It was great to meet so many of you and we had an amazing time, whilst raising money for the Teapot Trust and much needed awareness.

We even bought along our new and exclusive sheep tea towel, designed by one of our incredibly talented young artists. If you missed out at EYF, you can find this on our online shop.

Check out our Facebook page for lots more photos from the event!

This January, Teapot Trust are delighted to launch our Sandy Starfish crowdfunding campaign!

‘Sandy the Starfish Visits Doctor Dolphin’ was written by our founders and aims to reduce children’s fears about visiting a doctor and enable young children to make sense of what is happening. We want to make Sandy’s story into a stop motion animation which parents can show their children at home before attending an appointment or which can be viewed in hospital waiting rooms across the country.

We are so grateful to everyone who supports this campaign, whether by donating or by sharing it with their friends and families via email or on social media.

Check out Sandy’s page HERE!

If you would like to know about Sandy or our crowdfunding campaign, please contact marketing@teapot-trust.org

If you want to challenge yourself this year as well as help Teapot Trust raise some much needed funds, then the Kiltwalk is for you!

Kiltwalks take place in 4 different Scottish cities (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow) and you can choose from a Mighty Stride (approx. 26 miles), a Big Stroll (approx. 13 miles) or a Wee Wander (approx. 6 miles) so there is a Kiltwalk for everyone!

Thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation, your chosen charity will receive 140% of the sponsorship money you raise! These much needed funds will help provide art therapy to chronically ill children across the country.

Sign up HERE!

Of course, an event of this size wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of the wonderful volunteers, the Kilties! From keeping walkers spirits up to making sure they don’t wander off course, the Kilties are an essential part of every Kiltwalk! Plus, for every hour they volunteer, £1.10 is donated to their chosen charity! Find out more here.
